If you want to lower the cost of the ring and still have a blue diamond (or two), you should go with three diamonds setting.
You can set two small blue diamonds in the sides and a big white (colorless) diamond in the center.

I love naturally blue diamonds but are not too fond of the color of radiated blue diamonds and since I wouldn’t spend over a million per carat even if I had it I opted for a large aquamarine center stone. It is truly breathtaking surrounded by micro pave diamonds! It’s way prettier than any boring diamond solitaire I’ve seen! Carats & Colors custome made my ring for my fiancé!
