As a child, Kate spent almost three years living in Jordan where her father worked before the family returned to Britain and she began at private school.
She’s said to have excelled in all areas of school and academic life including A-level chemistry, biology and top level netball and hockey player. Friends have also said she was a keen touch rugby and cricket player also.
After university she worked for Jigsaw, a fashion store, as an accessory buyer before working for her parents in their business.
